Senior Director Server Product Architect, RISC-V

What you'll do

• Define the architecture for RISC-V server SoCs to meet performance, power, area, cost, and reliability requirements.
• Translate customer and platform requirements into measurable technical KPIs.
• Develop product roadmaps and feature sets across multiple architecture domains including memory, IO, and security.
• Model and evaluate trade-offs between performance, power, area (PPA), cost, and schedule to guide architectural decisions.
• Create detailed specification documents to communicate design decisions and implementation guidance to cross-functional teams.
• Oversee technical requirements for coherency management, RAS, debug, test architecture, and confidential compute.
• Influence next-generation architectures by making informed trade-offs in a fast-moving product development environment.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 10+ years of experience, Master's with 9+ years, or PhD with 8+ years.
• 15+ years of experience in semiconductor product development (preferred).
• 15+ years of experience in CPU and/or SoC architecture, including at least 5 years with RISC-V-based products.
• 5+ years of experience building high performance server products.
• Expertise in RISC-V profiles, RV64 application processor requirements, and RISC-V security including confidential compute (CoVE).
• Expertise in SoC architecture domains including coherency management, memory systems, IOMMU, power management, RAS, debug, and test architecture.
• Experience with ARM architecture including server architectures (preferred).
• Strong technical documentation skills and ability to communicate complex trade-offs to cross-functional teams.
