SerDes Circuit Design Engineer

What you'll do

• Design high-performance and high-speed AMS circuits for SerDes PHY, including Rx, CDR, Tx, and clock generation.
• Evaluate different circuit topologies to optimize power, performance, and area (PPA) for specific product requirements.
• Lead discussions with cross-functional teams to define block-level specifications and mixed-signal implementations.
• Develop behavioral models and provide IP views that meet strict quality standards for SoC integration.
• Implement advanced equalization techniques such as CTLE and DFE for 100+ Gbps NRZ and PAM applications.
• Perform circuit modeling and performance evaluation using tools like SystemVerilog, Matlab, Python, or VerilogAMS.
• Conduct lab testing, debugging, and data analysis to validate circuit performance.
• Supervise layout, bench evaluation, and characterization for AMS IC development from definition to production.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science degree.
• Minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.
• Deep understanding of analog mixed-signal design with experience in high-speed serial links (preferred).
• Experience designing AMS circuit blocks including Bandgap, biasing circuits, LDOs, amplifiers, and oscillators (preferred).
• Understanding of AMS concepts like mismatch mitigation, linearity, stability, low-power, and low-noise techniques (preferred).
• Experience with digitally assisted analog design, high-speed digital circuits, and Tx/Rx equalization techniques (preferred).
• Experience in AMS circuit modeling, lab testing, and advanced CMOS FinFET technology (preferred).
• Knowledge of high-speed SerDes protocols and scripting for automation (preferred).
