JOB TITLE: Senior Workday Configurator, Talent
The Senior Workday Configurator, Talent joins the HR Workday Configuration Team as a functional expert. This role involves partnering with HR, Technology, and business stakeholders to design, configure, test, and support scalable solutions within the Workday Talent and Performance ecosystem. Key responsibilities include translating business requirements into sustainable system solutions, leading requirements gathering, performing impact assessments, and providing Tier 3 troubleshooting for complex issues. The position focuses on workstreams such as performance management, goals, feedback, talent reviews, succession planning, and career development. Required technical skills include hands-on Workday configuration of business processes, condition rules, notifications, and security frameworks. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure platform stability and consistent user experience across the enterprise.
Translate business requirements into scalable Workday Talent and Performance system solutions.
Configure Workday business processes, condition rules, notifications, and security framework components.
Lead requirements gathering, solution design, impact assessments, and configuration activities for assigned workstreams.
Provide Tier 3 support and advanced troubleshooting for complex Workday technical issues.
Execute testing activities including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
Evaluate new Workday functionality and industry trends to improve business outcomes and processes.
Support governance activities including release management, documentation, and change control.
Partner with IT and integration teams on the design and implementation of HR technology solutions.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience configuring and supporting HR technology solutions.
At least 3 years of hands-on Workday configuration experience.
Experience configuring and supporting Workday Talent and Performance functionality, including Performance Management, Goals, Feedback, Talent Reviews, or Succession Planning.
Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable Workday solutions.
Experience configuring and maintaining Workday business processes, condition rules, notifications, security considerations, and related framework components.
Experience supporting testing activities, including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production validation.
Workday Pro certification in Talent, Performance, HCM, or related areas (preferred).
