Workday Extend Configurator, HR IT

What you'll do

• Design, configure, and develop Workday Extend applications and integrations using Workday Studio and APIs.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and functional Workday Extend solutions.
• Build and maintain applications using various computer and web programming languages.
• Perform comprehensive testing and debugging of configurations to ensure data integrity and system performance.
• Document technical designs, configurations, and processes for maintainability and knowledge transfer.
• Manage all phases of the software development lifecycle from initial concept to deployment and support.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and productivity using AI and machine learning concepts.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of HR Technology experience with systems such as SAP, PeopleSoft, or Workday.
• 2+ years of recent hands-on experience building and debugging Workday Extend applications, custom reports, calculated fields, and XSLTs.
• Strong proficiency in Computer Program Design Techniques and experience with various Computer Languages.
• Demonstrated experience in Web Programming Languages for developing and integrating applications.
• Expertise in utilizing product configurators, specifically within the Workday platform (Workday Extend, Studio, etc.).
• Basic, high-level understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts and use cases.
• Workday certification in relevant modules such as Extend, HCM, or Integrations (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Java/.Net programming languages (preferred).
