Senior Support Engineer

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and functional issues for Cerner Millennium applications.
• Investigate, reproduce, and diagnose application defects affecting healthcare clinical workflows.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and provide timely status updates.
• Analyze technical issues to identify root causes and implement permanent solutions or workarounds.
• Support specific modules including Pharmacy, Radiology, EDM, and CAMM solutions.
• Escalate complex technical problems to engineering and development teams for specialized resolution.
• Maintain accurate documentation of technical investigations, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
• Develop Knowledge Base articles and internal support documentation to improve troubleshooting efficiency.

What we're looking for

• This position requires a security clearance.
• Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• 3+ years of experience supporting healthcare IT applications, enterprise software, or electronic health record (EHR) systems is required.
• Hands-on experience with Cerner Millennium applications is required.
• Experience troubleshooting application issues, investigating system behavior, and identifying root causes is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently investigate moderately complex technical issues is required.
• Experience working with service requests, incident management, and technical documentation is required.
• 3+ years of hands-on Cerner Millennium experience with Pharmacy, Radiology, EDM, or CAMM solutions is preferred (preferred).
