Senior Specialist Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Perform systems engineering for Electro-Optical/Infra-Red (EO/IR) sensor systems.
• Lead technical planning, system integration, validation, and verification activities for development programs.
• Conduct systems analysis to determine how environmental changes and operations affect performance.
• Identify performance indicators and determine actions needed to correct system behavior relative to goals.
• Manage the full system development lifecycle from concept through fabrication, test, and disposal.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and suppliers.
• Coach and mentor other team members on technical processes and procedures.
• Evaluate potential actions by considering relative costs and benefits to select the most appropriate solutions.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Physics, or related Engineering with 6 years of experience.
• Graduate degree with 4 years of related experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Active DoD Security Clearance.
• Demonstrated experience within the EO/IR (Electro-Optical/Infra-Red) sensor field (preferred).
• Demonstrated experience in a technical discipline supporting EO/IR sensor or component work (preferred).
• Experience writing BOEs and supporting proposals (preferred).
• U.S. citizens.
