Senior Specialist, Systems Engineering

What you'll do

• Develop advanced communication subsystem hardware and software for space, ground, and airborne applications.
• Lead requirements analysis, decomposition, and traceability from customer specifications to system-level requirements.
• Generate technical specifications, interface control documents, test plans, and verification cross-reference matrices.
• Manage multi-disciplined engineering teams and subcontractors to deliver new technical capabilities.
• Lead system integration, verification, and qualification events at customer locations.
• Develop and present project design reviews for internal and external customer audiences.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risk management, and subcontract controls.
• Participate in RFI and RFP processes for new business development and technical demonstrations.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must currently have, and/or be able to maintain, an active U.S. Government DOD Top Secret Clearance.
• Experience in requirements management and documentation is a must.
• Strong communication skills (both written and oral) and formal presentation skills are required.
• Skilled in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, DOORs, or similar tools (preferred).
• U.S. citizens.
