What you'll do

Develop robust, scalable software solutions that integrate advanced communications technologies across mission-critical platforms.
Design and implement core software architecture to support defense and intelligence operations.
Execute all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing.
Develop embedded real-time software using VxWorks or Linux operating systems.
Create software test plans, procedures, and other relevant technical documentation.
Participate in peer reviews to identify, track, and repair software defects.
Perform hands-on software development and troubleshooting on embedded targets utilizing an RTOS.
Develop multi-threaded programming solutions using C++ and modern object-oriented design principles.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience, a graduate degree with 4 years of experience, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
Experience in embedded real-time software development using VxWorks or Linux.
Proficiency in multiple programming languages, compilers, and application execution across Windows, Linux, and RTOS platforms.
Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance (must be a U.S. citizen).
Expertise with high-performance, multi-threaded programming concepts (preferred).
Advanced proficiency in C++ and modern object-oriented design principles (preferred).
Experience with troubleshooting on embedded targets using an RTOS (preferred).
Knowledge of signal processing, control systems theory, networking fundamentals, or protocols like IP, UDP, TCP, IPSec, DDS, and SNMP (preferred).
