What you'll do

Design, code, test, debug, and update developmental and fielded embedded real-time systems.
Maintain and review technical requirements, design documentation, and source code.
Develop technical responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) including effort estimation and risk analysis.
Mentor junior engineers while working autonomously on complex projects.
Develop next-generation military communication applications for ground, air, shipboard, and space systems.
Implement object-oriented C++ software architecture for embedded targets using an RTOS.
Integrate hardware interfaces such as PCIe, 1553, RS232, SPI, I2C, and FPGAs into system designs.

What we're looking for

Ability to obtain and retain a security clearance (must be a U.S. citizen).
Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience, Master's with 4 years, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
Proficiency in object-oriented C++.
Experience in embedded systems design including the use of an RTOS.
Experience troubleshooting on embedded targets (preferred).
Experience in object-oriented software architecture and design (preferred).
Working knowledge of signal processing, control systems, networking, and various hardware interfaces (preferred).
Knowledge of protocols, operating systems, modeling software, scripting languages, and DevOps technologies (preferred).
