What you'll do

  • Architect and develop core software infrastructure for mission-critical communication technologies.
  • Develop embedded real-time software using VxWorks or Linux operating systems.
  • Execute all phases of the software development life cycle including requirements analysis and design.
  • Integrate hardware and software components across complex subsystems.
  • Create software test plans, procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Perform peer reviews to identify, track, and repair software defects.
  • Develop high-performance, multi-threaded applications using C++ and other programming languages.
  • Troubleshoot software issues on embedded targets utilizing real-time operating systems.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of professional experience in software development using object-oriented programming methodologies.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
  • Experience with embedded real-time software development on VxWorks or Linux.
  • Strong C++ skills (preferred).
  • Experience with high performance and multi-threaded programming (preferred).
  • Experience with hands-on software development and troubleshooting on embedded targets utilizing an RTOS (preferred).
  • U.S. citizens.
