What you'll do

Design, code, test, and debug embedded real-time systems for military communication applications.
Maintain and review technical requirements, design documentation, and source code.
Develop technical responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) including effort estimation and risk analysis.
Mentor junior engineers while working autonomously on complex engineering projects.
Implement object-oriented C++ software for embedded systems using a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS).
Troubleshoot hardware interfaces and protocols such as PCIe, 1553, RS232, and various networking protocols.
Utilize modeling tools like Matlab or Simulink to support system design and development.

What we're looking for

Ability to obtain and retain a security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience, Master's with 4 years, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
Proficiency in object-oriented C++.
Experience in embedded systems design including the use of an RTOS.
Experience troubleshooting on embedded targets (preferred).
Experience in object-oriented software architecture and design (preferred).
Working knowledge of signal processing, control systems, networking, and various hardware interfaces (preferred).
Knowledge of protocols, operating systems, modeling software, scripting languages, and DevOps technologies (preferred).
