What you'll do

Lead cross-functional teams of 4-10 members to deliver electro-optic and infrared systems.
Manage project costs and schedules while ensuring all system requirements are met.
Coordinate across engineering disciplines to resolve compatibility and interface problems across subsystems.
Perform technical risk assessments, verification, validation, and supportability analyses for complex products.
Support business development by generating cost and schedule data for bids and proposals.
Create and maintain essential engineering documentation including specifications, reports, and technical memos.
Execute project capacity planning in coordination with functional managers and other project leaders.
Implement and audit engineering processes to ensure compliance across all programs.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree and minimum 6 years of relevant experience, a graduate degree and 4 years of experience, or 10 years of experience without a degree.
Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
Experience in the design, development, and production of electro-optic/infrared systems and opto-mechanical technology (preferred).
Experience with Electrical, Optical, Mechanical, Software, and Systems Engineering (preferred).
Knowledge of Risk Management tools, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), and Model Based Systems Engineering (preferred).
Experience in project engineering or program management of aerospace products with multi-site development teams (preferred).
Technical acumen in complex systems such as optics, detector arrays, digital video, and control algorithms (preferred).
U.S. citizens.
