Senior Software Engineer, NPI and Release joins the Imaging Software Engineering team to enable the successful introduction, release, and ongoing manufacture of software-enabled life science instruments. What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
5+ years of professional experience in software development, release engineering, DevOps, or software NPI.
Strong Python development skills to design, debug, test, and maintain production software.
Experience with at least one additional technology such as C#, TypeScript, or Angular.
Experience building and supporting software release pipelines, Windows installers, artifact repositories, and versioning using tools like TeamCity or PowerShell.
Experience supporting web applications, REST APIs, authentication/licensing workflows, and diagnosing production issues from logs.
Experience with configuration management, change control, defect management, and risk assessment in a structured product-development system.
Experience in scientific instruments, regulated products, or manufacturing transfer (preferred).
