Senior Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and implement native Windows components using modern C++ with Win32, COM, and system APIs.
• Develop device redirection features for input, display, audio/video, USB, and HID peripherals.
• Create solutions to protect keyboard input from local keyloggers via Windows Cloud Input Protection.
• Develop performance-critical code paths focusing on low latency, stability, and cross-process communication.
• Diagnose and fix issues across kernel/user-mode boundaries, drivers, services, and OS integrations.
• Optimize memory usage, threading models, IPC, and I/O in long-running Windows client processes.
• Manage the full software lifecycle including architecture, testing, deployment, and live-site debugging.
• Conduct code and design reviews to ensure long-term maintainability and engineering excellence.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience in C, C++, or C#.
• Equivalent experience to the degree and years of experience requirement.
• Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check.
• Solid experience in C or C++ with production-quality, shipped code (preferred).
• Experience building native Windows applications or system components (preferred).
• 4+ years of professional development experience on Windows (preferred).
• Deep knowledge of Win32, COM, Windows services, and system internals (preferred).
• Experience with device integration, low-level input, audio/video, USB, or driver-adjacent code (preferred).
