What you'll do

Build high-performance data ingestion pipelines and data stores for Segmentation and Activation use cases.
Own the design and implementation of key components for ingesting and maintaining petabytes of profile data.
Develop systems to handle high-volume data ingestion for both streaming and batch processing.
Design storage models using popular file and table formats to support specific ingestion volumes and access patterns.
Explore and evaluate tradeoffs across different formats and schema layouts based on workload characteristics.
Deploy production services and perform iterative improvements based on customer feedback.
Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.

What we're looking for

This role is best suited for candidates with 15+ years of industry background.
M.S. in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience is required.
Strong programming skills with extensive experience in Java or Scala are required.
Experience with distributed processing systems like Apache Spark, Hadoop Stack, or Apache Kafka is required.
Experience with Data Lake cloud storages like Azure Data Lake Storage or AWS S3 is required.
Understanding of file formats like Apache Parquet and table formats such as Databricks Delta, Apache Iceberg or Apache Hudi is preferred.
Understanding of NoSQL databases like Apache HBase, Cassandra, Mongo, or Azure Cosmos DB is a plus.
Practical experience in building resilient data pipelines at scale is preferred.
