As a Senior Software Engineer on the Microsoft Copilot team, you will improve the performance, scalability, and architecture of Office web applications. What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 4+ years of engineering experience in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check.
Master's degree with 6+ years of software engineering experience (preferred).
Experience leading complex, cross-team engineering initiatives and driving technical decisions (preferred).
Experience improving performance, scalability, and reliability of large-scale web applications (preferred).
Experience modernizing large codebases through architectural improvements, refactoring, and performance optimization (preferred).
Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage agentic AI for software development, code transformation, testing, debugging, and engineering productivity (preferred).
