What you'll do

Design and architect reliable, secure, and maintainable infrastructure and services to meet functionality requirements.
Identify operational risks, performance issues, and potential failure points before they impact service.
Install, configure, and validate applications across Windows Server and Linux environments.
Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Ansible to automate manual tasks.
Execute system, middleware, and application patching following established change-control procedures.
Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions for production issues.
Support security initiatives including vulnerability remediation, system hardening, and STIG compliance.
Maintain accurate runbooks, deployment procedures, and technical documentation for operational records.

What we're looking for

Must have 3 to 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or related fields.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must have hands-on experience administering Windows Server and Linux systems.
Must possess skills in troubleshooting operating system, service, application, patching, and connectivity issues.
Must have experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, or Chef.
Must have knowledge of network components including DNS, firewalls, routing, load balancers, ports, and certificates.
Experience supporting federal clients, government-hosted environments, or utilizing Citrix technologies (preferred).
Experience with infrastructure-as-code, monitoring tools, or specific applications like Millennium or Cerner (preferred).
