What you'll do

Solve complex infrastructure problems and automate common tasks to ensure continuous service availability.
Coordinate subject matter experts and service leaders to restore services during major incidents.
Use cloud computing design patterns to identify and mitigate risks in large, interconnected systems.
Monitor high-level service and infrastructure dashboards to proactively address identified anomalies.
Own the automation and continuous improvement of incident management processes and best practices.
Define and document the technical architecture for large-scale distributed systems.
Partner with development teams to define operational requirements for product roadmaps.
Act as the final escalation point for critical issues that lack established standard operating procedures.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience.
3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or System Engineering.
Experience with public cloud operations such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
Extensive experience with Major Incident Management in a cloud-based environment.
Demonstrated understanding of automation and orchestration principles.
Experience working in at least one modern object-oriented programming language.
Experience with professional software engineering standards including Agile, CI/CD, source control, and testing.
Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools like Chef, Ansible, Jenkins, or Terraform.
