What you'll do

Design and architect reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments.
Identify operational risks, performance bottlenecks, and potential failure points before they impact services.
Develop scripts and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, or Chef to reduce manual effort.
Troubleshoot complex system issues including connectivity, permissions, certificates, and application failures.
Execute planned patching for operating systems, middleware, and applications following strict change-control procedures.
Lead incident investigations and perform root cause analysis to implement corrective actions.
Perform security hardening and vulnerability remediation in compliance with STIG standards.
Maintain accurate technical documentation including runbooks, deployment guides, and operational records.

What we're looking for

Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Federal Security Clearance.
3 to 5+ years of experience in relevant roles.
Experience administering Windows Server and Linux systems is required.
Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, and Chef is required.
Knowledge of network protocols including DNS, firewalls, routing, load balancers, ports, and certificates is required.
Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or other major cloud platforms is required.
Experience supporting federal clients or government-hosted environments (preferred).
Experience with Citrix technologies, infrastructure-as-code, or specific healthcare applications like Millennium or Cerner (preferred).
