What you'll do

Own the reliability, availability, performance, and capacity of production services in Autodesk GovCloud.
Deploy, operate, and maintain production services while ensuring they meet scalability and security requirements.
Define and manage reliability practices including SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and production readiness reviews.
Build automation and software tooling to improve deployment safety, incident response, and operational efficiency.
Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability capabilities across all supported services.
Lead incident response efforts and conduct post-incident reviews to drive continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and disaster recovery procedures.
Execute resilience testing and Gameday practices to validate system behavior and recovery capabilities.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to obtain and maintain necessary government security clearances.
B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
7+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or Production Operations.
Experience operating and supporting customer-facing production services in large-scale cloud environments.
Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles including SLOs/SLIs, observability, incident management, capacity planning, and automation.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or other public cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code.
Experience developing automation using languages such as Python, Go, Java, PowerShell, or Bash.
Experience with containers, Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, and distributed systems (preferred).
Experience with AWS GovCloud, FedRAMP, IL4/IL5, or other regulated cloud environments (preferred).
Experience with observability platforms such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, or CloudWatch (preferred).
