Senior Principal Network Reliability Engineer, Network Region Build

What you'll do

• Provide technical leadership for the deployment, operation, and lifecycle management of global network infrastructure.
• Define and drive long-term strategies for network reliability, operational excellence, and infrastructure scalability.
• Lead complex engineering initiatives for AI infrastructure, new regions, and large-scale network deployments.
• Establish engineering standards, deployment methodologies, and reliability metrics across multiple organizations.
• Drive systemic improvements to eliminate recurring operational issues through automation and architectural changes.
• Serve as the senior technical advisor during large-scale production events and critical customer issues.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and influence internal technology roadmaps and vendor selections.
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders to foster a culture of technical excellence.

What we're looking for

• Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Candidates must have 6 to 10+ years of experience.
• Required skills include Border Gateway Protocol Routing, Data Center or Network Site Design, IP Networking, Software Defined Networking, System Automation, and Technical Leadership.
• Expert knowledge of hyperscale cloud networking or Tier 1 service provider environments (preferred).
• Deep expertise in routing, transport, optical networking, backbone, internet connectivity, data center fabrics, and large-scale network architecture (preferred).
• Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, EVPN, VXLAN, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, and network reliability principles (preferred).
• Experience designing and operating highly available cloud infrastructure supporting mission-critical services (preferred).
• Experience supporting AI infrastructure, GPU networking, or large-scale data center deployments (preferred).
