What you'll do

Design and deploy large-scale global cloud networks including data center fabrics, edge networks, and backbone infrastructure.
Decompose high-level architectures into detailed technical designs and manage the associated project milestones.
Serve as a Tier 2 escalation point to provide break-fix support and root cause analysis for complex network events.
Develop scripts and lead automation projects to streamline non-traditional tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Provide technical coaching, mentorship, and guidance to junior and senior members of the engineering staff.
Collaborate with vendors to manage hardware adoption, address operational issues, and participate in RFQ/RFP processes.
Coordinate with product teams to ensure network infrastructure meets specific product requirements and service goals.

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred.
At least 8 years of related experience are required.
Experience working in a large ISP or cloud provider environment is required.
Demonstrated knowledge of Python for automation and datacenter design is required.
Proficiency with networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, TCP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, MPLS, VPN, and SSL is required.
Experience with internet peering, inter-domain networking, and high-level software development is required.
Knowledge of network modeling and programming using YANG, OpenConfig, and NETCONF is required.
Experience with automation systems, framework design, and network security design is required.
