What you'll do

Design, deploy, and operate large-scale global cloud networks and data center fabrics.
Execute network changes and develop new procedures for infrastructure builds and upgrades.
Provide 24x7 operational support, including break-fix troubleshooting and escalation support.
Lead post-event root cause analysis and remediation for complex network events.
Develop scripts and tools to automate routine network tasks and processes.
Collaborate with vendors to resolve software bugs and qualify new firmware or operating systems.
Serve as a technical lead by creating runbooks and mentoring junior engineers.
Troubleshoot cable, trunk, and optics issues within structured cabling systems.

What we're looking for

Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Experience in large ISP or cloud provider environments is required.
3 to 5+ years of experience is required.
Deep knowledge of routing and transport protocols including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, TCP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, and MPLS is required.
Hands-on exposure to commodity Ethernet hardware such as Broadcom and Mellanox is required.
Experience with Internet peering, inter-domain networking, and VPN/SSL technologies is required.
Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python preferred) and datacenter design is required.
Familiarity with automation frameworks, network modeling (YANG, OpenConfig, NETCONF), and telemetry systems is required.
