Senior Physical Verification CAD Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain Physical Verification flows for all silicon projects from early design through final signoff.
• Resolve technical issues regarding tool stability, runtime scalability, deck integration, and cross-tool debugging.
• Collaborate with EDA partners and internal teams to communicate requirements and influence roadmap priorities.
• Support PDK and node enablement by validating flows against foundry decks and internal criteria.
• Create training materials, documentation, and onboarding labs for the Physical Verification team.
• Develop and deploy AI-enabled agents to automate and optimize Physical Verification and PERC workflows.

What we're looking for

• A Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with 1+ year of technical experience is required.
• A Master's degree in a related field with 4+ years of technical engineering experience is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5+ years of technical engineering experience is required.
• Candidates must be able to pass Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screenings.
• Candidates must provide proof of citizenship or protected status for assessment of eligibility to access export-controlled information.
• Preferred candidates have 7 years of experience with a BS (or 5 years with an MS) in Physical Verification, Physical Design, or CAD methodology.
• Proficiency with industry standard PV tools like Calibre and scripting languages such as TCL, Python, or Perl is required.
• Experience with advanced verification checks including PERC, ESD, EOS, and SVRF rule deck enablement is preferred.
