What you'll do

Design and build reliable, scalable systems using the MongoDB data platform for customers and partners.
Conduct technical discovery, product demonstrations, and proof of value exercises to support sales activities.
Translate complex technical concepts and patterns into clear business benefits for executives and management.
Develop reference architectures, patterns, and AI blueprints in collaboration with advisory consulting partners.
Act as a trusted advisor to build and maintain relationships with technical partner stakeholders.
Gather field feedback and relay it to the Product Management team to influence product development.
Create strategies to map industry trends and competitive threats within local partner organizations.
Mentor other pre-sales team members and share best practices across the organization.

What we're looking for

Candidates must have at least 8 years of pre-sales experience with enterprise software and technical aptitude.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of software development experience.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Candidates must be able to code in one or more modern scripting or programming languages such as Python, Node.js, SQL, C/C++, Java, or C#.
Candidates must have experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems.
Candidates must possess excellent presentation and communication skills.
Candidates must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
Candidates should ideally hold a cloud provider certification or a MongoDB Certification.
