As a Senior Partner Solutions Architect in the Pre-Sales organization, you will serve as a trusted advisor to customers and partners, guiding them to design and build reliable, scalable systems using the MongoDB data platform. Your daily responsibilities include conducting demonstrations, performing proof of value, and creating strategies to map industry trends and competitive threats within partner ecosystems. The role requires proficiency in modern scripting languages like Python, Node.js, or SQL, as well as programming languages such as C/C++, Java, or C#. You will leverage expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, database programming, data engineering, and AI/ML projects to solve complex architectural challenges for a diverse range of clients.

What you'll do

Design and build reliable, scalable systems using the MongoDB data platform for diverse customers.
Conduct technical discovery, product demonstrations, and proof of value exercises to win new deals.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear business benefits for executive leadership.
Act as a trusted advisor to partners by building relationships and providing technical mentorship.
Collaborate with account teams to manage the end-to-end sales cycle and documentation of technical criteria.
Develop reference architectures, patterns, and AI blueprints in collaboration with consulting partners.
Gather field feedback from customers and partners to relay back to the Product Management team.
Create strategies to map industry trends and competitive threats within the partner ecosystem.

What we're looking for

Must have 5 to 8 years of related industry experience.
Must have at least 2 years of experience in a partner-facing role.
Must have at least 2 years of professional experience with modern or popular programming languages like Python, Node.js, SQL, C/C++, Java, or C#.
Must have experience implementing scalable and highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-prem environments.
Must possess excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills to convey complex technical concepts to leadership.
Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
Must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred qualifications include MongoDB or Cloud Provider certifications and experience in data engineering or AI/ML projects.
