Senior Manager, Systems Engineering

What you'll do

• Lead and manage systems engineering teams by assigning resources, prioritizing work, and providing performance management.
• Direct technical execution across the full lifecycle of Electronic Warfare (EW) and Next Generation Jammer programs.
• Develop system architectures and technical roadmaps for RF hardware, software, firmware, and airborne mission capabilities.
• Oversee requirements decomposition, traceability, and verification planning across multiple subsystems and interfaces.
• Manage technical risks by identifying issues, creating mitigation plans, and ensuring project milestones are met.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering efforts between systems, electrical, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
• Support business development by contributing to proposal strategies, technical volumes, and customer demonstrations for new contracts.
• Enforce disciplined systems engineering processes and tools to ensure configuration control and compliance with standards.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree and at least 12 years of experience, or a Graduate degree and at least 10 years of experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of technical leadership, functional leadership, or engineering management experience on complex EW, defense, or aerospace programs.
• Active Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
• Active Top Secret clearance, TS/SCI eligibility, or access is preferred.
• Experience leading systems engineering for Electronic Warfare, electronic attack, RF, airborne mission systems, or NGJ is strongly desired.
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering processes including architecture development, interface definition, and verification is preferred.
• Experience with risk management, earned value, and coordination across internal teams and subcontractors is preferred.
