Senior M365 Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead Level 3 incident response for messaging and collaboration services while performing root cause analysis.
• Provide architectural direction and design leadership for a hybrid Exchange Online and On-Prem environment.
• Drive modernization initiatives including IronPort upgrades, SharePoint/OneDrive migrations, and mobile device management strategies.
• Design and automate Microsoft Teams policies, security controls, and data loss prevention measures.
• Manage identity provisioning and directory synchronization between Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Execute vulnerability responses, security updates, and patch sequencing for hybrid Exchange environments.
• Oversee platform integrations such as Salesforce and Outlook scheduling while ensuring Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness.
• Monitor system health, performance, and capacity trends using telemetry and logs to ensure long-term resiliency.

What we're looking for

• A BS degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Candidates must have 5+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure operations and messaging platforms.
• Required expertise includes Microsoft Exchange (on-prem and online), IronPort, Microsoft Teams, M365/Entra ID, mobile device management, and messaging security controls.
• Familiarity with architectural oversight and modernization strategies for communication systems is required.
• Root cause analysis skills for investigating incidents impacting technology availability are required.
• SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business administration, including migration planning and governance (preferred).
• Microsoft Teams platform administration at scale (preferred).
• Experience with M365 Copilot, automation/scripting (PowerShell, Graph), and other advanced collaboration features (preferred).
