What you'll do

Design OpenShift cluster architectures for on-premises or hybrid environments to ensure scalability, security, and high availability.
Build and operate OpenShift clusters end-to-end, including installation, patching, scaling, and resilience testing.
Engineer the platform to support both Kubernetes workloads and virtual machines using KubeVirt technologies.
Manage Linux platform fundamentals including kernel tuning, certificate management, and identity integration for cluster operations.
Implement and troubleshoot core networking capabilities such as DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and packet-path analysis.
Integrate storage services for container and VM workloads including CSI drivers and backup/restore procedures.
Drive reliability practices through observability, incident response, root-cause analysis, and the creation of standard runbooks.
Utilize enterprise-authorized AI tools to accelerate infrastructure signal analysis and automate delivery routines.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on administration of Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes in production environments.
Experience with OpenShift Virtualization or KubeVirt for VM-on-Kubernetes co-tenancy design.
Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills including system performance, certificates, and OS configuration.
Demonstrated troubleshooting depth in at least two domains: networking, storage, or virtualization.
Experience designing and operating highly available platforms with capacity management and incident handling.
Experience implementing infrastructure automation and configuration-as-code using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or GitOps.
Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support infrastructure engineering workflows while ensuring data security.
