As a Sr Lead Infrastructure Engineer / Platform Engineer within the Corporate Sector - Employee Platforms team, you will join the Branch Technology engineering team to build software-defined platforms managing the Retail Branch network. You will focus on the Software Defined Branch platform, modernizing C#, .NET, and PowerShell workflows to drive branch builds and Windows automation at scale. Your daily work involves reshaping these systems into a maintainable, extensible agentic platform while utilizing AI tools like VS Code, GitHub Copilot, and Claude Code. You must apply expertise in REST API design, relational database development, and cloud infrastructure across public and private environments. You will architect changes to resolve complex issues, advise junior engineers, and ensure all infrastructure engineering meets strict compliance, risk, and security standards within a lean, high-performing team.
Modernize C#, .NET, and PowerShell workflows to drive branch builds and Windows automation at scale.
Architect and implement changes to resolve issues and modernize organizational technology processes.
Develop and maintain a clean, maintainable, and extensible agentic platform for software-defined infrastructure.
Integrate AI tools and agentic patterns into daily infrastructure engineering workflows.
Analyze complex data and systems to anticipate issues and implement risk mitigation actions.
Manage infrastructure engineering projects in accordance with business requirements and compliance standards.
Advise junior engineers and technologists on technical processes and system implications.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Knowledge of infrastructure engineering areas such as hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance.
Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for infrastructure engineering workflows with strong validation habits and data sensitivity awareness.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools like VS Code, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or equivalent and knowledge of LLM integration.
Minimum 7 years of deep working knowledge of C#, .NET, and PowerShell in production environments.
Experience with Windows platform engineering and automation workflows at scale.
Strong understanding of REST API design, relational database development, and system integration patterns.
Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds.
Experience with front-end frameworks (React or equivalent) (preferred).
Experience with event-driven architecture or messaging platforms (preferred).
Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or tools-first API design patterns (preferred).
Experience in financial services or a comparable enterprise environment (preferred).
Background in platform modernization or legacy system re-architecture (preferred).
