As a Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer within the Digital & Platform Services team, you will provide technical leadership to manage large-scale market data infrastructure across multiple technologies and business lines. You will be responsible for end-to-end production health, including reliability, performance, and capacity, while driving strategies for automation and cloud migration. Your daily work involves architecting systems, mentoring engineers, and leading incident forensics to ensure high availability. The role requires expertise in Python, Linux/Unix, and low-latency infrastructure fundamentals like TCP/IP and multicast. You will utilize enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate the analysis of complex signals and automate delivery routines. Key technical domains include hardware, networking, databases, storage engineering, and market data distribution platforms. You must navigate complex requirements to ensure all systems remain compliant with security standards while optimizing for scalability and cost efficiency.
Analyze complex data and systems to anticipate issues and advise on mitigation actions.
Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate analysis of infrastructure signals and documentation.
Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of large-scale market data infrastructure across multiple technologies.
Own end-to-end production health for critical platforms including reliability, performance, capacity, and resilience.
Drive the strategy and roadmap for market data distribution, automation, and cloud migration.
Implement AI-assisted practices in delivery and automation routines while ensuring results are validated and auditable.
Provide senior technical leadership by mentoring engineers and setting engineering standards.
Perform methodical troubleshooting and incident leadership for mission-critical platforms to ensure swift resolution.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Knowledge of infrastructure areas including hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments.
Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support infrastructure workflows with strong validation habits and data sensitivity awareness.
Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations while ensuring outcomes align with resiliency, security, and auditability expectations.
Proficiency in specific infrastructure technologies and programming languages.
Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds.
Advanced Python automation expertise combined with deep Linux/Unix proficiency for large-scale performance tuning and diagnostics.
Strong low-latency infrastructure fundamentals, including TCP/IP, multicast, and latency optimization for market data workflows.
Knowledge of market data symbology, identifiers, reference data, and conventions (preferred).
Hands-on expertise with market data distribution platforms and direct exchange connectivity (preferred).
Significant experience supporting trading or front-office environments (preferred).
Advanced experience with monitoring and forensic tools such as ITRS Geneos (preferred).
