As a Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer within the Enterprise Technology - Network Services Group, you will apply deep technical expertise to analyze complex data and systems while mitigating risk. You will architect and implement changes to modernize technology processes, drive complex programs, and lead the adoption of AI-assisted practices for delivery and automation. Your daily work involves managing infrastructure engineering in accordance with business requirements, compliance standards, and security objectives. You must possess proficiency in Python and Ansible, alongside experience with software-defined networks, SD-WAN, fabric switching, and Wi-Fi. The role requires deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure across public and private environments, as well as hardware, databases, and storage engineering. You will also provide technical guidance to junior engineers while ensuring all infrastructure changes remain traceable and auditable.
Analyze complex data and systems to anticipate issues and mitigate technical risks.
Use enterprise-authorized AI to analyze infrastructure signals and document mitigation options.
Architect and implement changes to modernize technology processes and resolve system issues.
Execute infrastructure engineering projects in accordance with compliance, risk, and security standards.
Lead the adoption of AI-assisted practices across delivery and automation routines.
Evaluate upstream and downstream technical implications to advise on necessary mitigation actions.
Mentor and advise junior engineers and technologists on technical processes.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
5+ years of experience in full stack network design and deployment.
Operating knowledge of software defined networks, zero touch provisioning, SD-WAN, fabric switching, Wi-Fi, or network security.
Proficiency in specific network infrastructure technology and programming languages such as Python and Ansible.
Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds.
Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support infrastructure engineering workflows with strong validation habits.
Experience with wired/wireless LAN, BGP WAN, SD-WAN, and 802.1x technologies from vendors like Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Fortinet, and Forescout (preferred).
Strong communication skills to convey ideas and challenges with clarity and precision (preferred).
