The role involves developing a custom C#/.NET 8 workload management platform, benchmarking compute and storage performance, and diagnosing full-stack issues across networking and hypervisor layers. You will also harden environments against vulnerabilities, mentor engineers through design reviews, and integrate enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis. Key technical requirements include expertise in Hyper-V, PowerShell, C#/.NET, and experience with CI/CD pipelines, while solving complex problems related to large-scale virtualization, storage performance optimization, and automated orchestration.

What you'll do

Architect Hyper-V cluster designs across global pools including WSFC, live migration, and vSwitch topologies.
Automate provisioning, configuration, patching, and decommissioning using PowerShell, DSC, and platform APIs.
Develop and enhance a custom C#/.NET 8 workload management platform to scale operational workflows.
Benchmark compute and storage performance using industry-standard tools to guide capacity decisions.
Diagnose full-stack issues across compute, storage, networking, clustering, and hypervisor layers.
Evaluate server BOMs for Hyper-V suitability based on CPU, memory, storage, and network characteristics.
Harden environments by remediating vulnerabilities and enforcing platform baselines at scale.
Integrate enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate analysis of infrastructure signals and automation routines.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in infrastructure disciplines and 5+ years of experience in enterprise environments.
Deep expertise in Microsoft Hyper-V at scale, including WSFC, live migration, S2D, and vSwitch/SET topologies.
Strong PowerShell skills for automation, configuration management, and operational tooling.
Proficiency in C#/.NET to develop and maintain workload management platforms and orchestration services.
Experience with data-center-scale automation tools such as DSC, SCCM, or Ansible.
Demonstrated experience performing full-stack performance auditing across compute, storage, networking, and hypervisor layers.
Ability to manage production changes with disciplined risk management and zero-downtime upgrade strategies.
Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for infrastructure analysis while ensuring security and auditability.
