The Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Systems – Collaboration joins the Digital Enterprise Technology organization to manage a portfolio of management tools including Linear and Airtable. This role involves owning the architecture, configuration, and administration of these platforms while designing workflows, integrations, and governance models to help teams plan and track work effectively at scale. The engineer will build automations for user provisioning and lifecycle management, develop integrations between SaaS platforms using REST APIs and webhooks, and establish data models and permission structures. Required technical skills include experience with SSO, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SCIM, and Identity and Access Management. Candidates should be proficient in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell to automate operations. The role focuses on solving the challenge of scaling collaboration tools and improving operational efficiency across a large enterprise environment.
Manage the architecture, configuration, and administration of portfolio management tools like Linear and Airtable.
Design and build integrations, automations, and custom workflows between SaaS platforms and enterprise systems.
Automate user provisioning, lifecycle management, and other operational processes to improve efficiency.
Establish and enforce governance standards including permissions, data models, and naming conventions at scale.
Translate stakeholder requirements from engineering and business teams into technical system configurations.
Monitor platform health and performance while troubleshooting issues for the enterprise user base.
Create documentation, training materials, and enablement resources to support user adoption of new tools.
Provide technical mentorship to other engineers and administrators supporting collaboration platforms.
What we're looking for
Must have 6+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or platform engineering roles with senior-level ownership.
Must have hands-on experience developing, managing, and administering Linear, Airtable, or comparable portfolio management tools.
Must have experience supporting collaboration and productivity systems at enterprise scale with complex governance needs.
Must have a strong background building integrations and automations using APIs, webhooks, and scripting between collaboration tools and enterprise systems.
Must be able to design scalable data models, permission structures, and workflow configurations.
Must have experience with SSO, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM.
Must have a strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM).
Must have experience with REST APIs and automation scripting in Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, or similar.
