Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and develop scalable, reliable architectures for electronic trading systems.
• Analyze complex data and systems to anticipate issues and mitigate technical risks.
• Architect and implement technology changes to modernize organizational processes.
• Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture, configurations, and performance reports.
• Act as the primary escalation point to resolve major incidents and prevent financial losses.
• Design, configure, and manage routing, switching infrastructure, and load balancers.
• Use automation tools and scripting languages like Python and Ansible to automate network tasks.
• Validate performance and traffic behavior using IXIA to characterize throughput and latency.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Formal training and certification such as CCNP, CCIE or equivalent.
• 5+ years of applied experience in network architecture, systems engineering, or a related field within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of network architecture, protocols, and technologies including TCP/IP, multicast, routing, and switching.
• Experience using IXIA to validate performance and traffic behavior under realistic market-data and order-entry patterns.
• Proficiency in network automation tools and scripting languages such as Python and Ansible.
• Deep technical knowledge across multiple domains including Cloud technologies and network system architecture (ASIC, FPGA, packet forwarding).
• Experience with Arista EOS and low latency switching solutions (preferred).
