What you'll do

Develop and maintain discrete event simulation models for maritime manufacturing processes and facility layout decisions.
Build and operate critical chain project management models to drive production scheduling and resource leveling.
Write scripts and build automated workflows to streamline production control tasks and increase team throughput.
Provide data-driven analysis to support capital equipment investments, capacity planning, and make-vs-buy decisions.
Create visualizations and reports to help cross-functional teams understand factory behavior and make informed decisions.
Identify production bottlenecks, resource conflicts, and capacity constraints before they impact manufacturing operations.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, operations research, manufacturing engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical field.
2+ years of experience in simulation modeling, production planning, or industrial engineering.
Foundational knowledge of discrete event simulation concepts and at least one platform like FlexSim, Simio, AnyLogic, or Arena.
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Python or Excel.
Ability to write scripts and build automated workflows to streamline production control tasks.
Strong analytical skills to translate complex data into actionable insights for manufacturing decisions.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
