Senior Hardware Post-Silicon Validation Engineer joins the Common Hardware Group to support high-performance networking silicon development. This role focuses on lab-intensive hardware validation, where you will perform early-silicon bring-up, execute detailed hardware validation plans for functionality and reliability, and conduct root-cause analysis for silicon, package, and board-level issues. You will manage power-on sequencing, signal integrity analysis, and thermal testing while validating Ethernet MAC/PHY, PCIe, and SerDes interfaces. The position requires expertise in electrical engineering principles, including digital logic, and proficiency with tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, VNAs, and protocol analyzers. Additionally, you will use Python for lab automation and data analysis. This role addresses the technical challenges of developing complex networking ASICs and high-speed interfaces to power advanced switching, routing, and wireless products in a demanding hardware environment.
