Senior Hardware Engineer, Power Delivery

What you'll do

• Specify board-level power designs, power management products, and voltage regulator selections.
• Perform power correlation to ensure system-level performance and power metrics are met.
• Provide schematic and layout guidance to the CAD team and conduct design reviews.
• Drive internal simulation teams to ensure board design meets signal and power integrity requirements.
• Program PMIC to orchestrate system power-on and power-off sequences on development platforms.
• Derive, document, and execute board validation test plans for pre- and post-silicon stages.
• Bring up and test PCBs using oscilloscopes, meters, electronic loads, and debuggers.
• Triage system-level problems to determine root causes and analyze test results for design margins.

What we're looking for

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
• Expertise in power electronics, power management, thermal analysis, or power distribution networks.
• Proficiency in firmware coding and Python or similar scripting languages.
• Experience with PCB layout, construction, and industry standard interfaces like DDR, PCIe, and USB.
• Proficiency with design and simulation tools including MATLAB, SIMPLIS, Excel, and Mentor Graphics.
• Experience with multi-phase buck, boost, and LDO regulators, crystal oscillators, and precision references.
• Ability to derive and execute board validation test plans using oscilloscopes, meters, and electronic loads.
