Senior Facilities Service Manager, Mechanical

What you'll do

• Lead the onsite mechanical team in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mission-critical cooling and HVAC systems.
• Manage daily operations for technicians including work prioritization, coaching, performance management, and professional development.
• Build and lead an in-house self-perform maintenance program to improve execution standards and technical capabilities.
• Oversee large-scale infrastructure such as chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and associated control interfaces.
• Manage vendor and contractor relationships by enforcing SLAs, workmanship standards, and safety protocols.
• Track system health and performance metrics to improve uptime and reduce repeat equipment failures.
• Own mechanical safety programs, regulatory compliance, and technician training for refrigerant handling and safe work practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in maintenance procedures, spare parts readiness, and documentation quality.

What we're looking for

• 3–5+ years of experience in HVAC, mechanical service, critical facilities maintenance, or related uptime-critical environments.
• 1–3+ years of experience leading technicians, service teams, or field maintenance operations.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC technology, facilities management, or related field (preferred).
• Experience with mission-critical cooling infrastructure including chillers, CRAH/CRAC systems, pumps, and cooling towers (preferred).
• Familiarity with BMS/controls integration, alarm response, and service coordination with automation teams (preferred).
• EPA Section 608 Certification (preferred).
• HVAC trade license or mechanical certification where applicable (preferred).
• OEM training or manufacturer certifications related to chillers, cooling systems, or critical mechanical equipment (preferred).
