What you'll do

Prospect into CTOs, Engineering/IT leaders, and technical end users to identify new business opportunities.
Grow the existing customer base by landing new workloads through outbound prospecting.
Manage the full sales cycle for all MongoDB products and services.
Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to achieve specific revenue targets.
Build and maintain a sales pipeline using Salesforce, Clari, and various prospecting tools.
Articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology to key stakeholders.
Sell horizontally across organizations into different business units to expand existing accounts.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be based in St. Louis to accommodate the hybrid work model.
Must have 5+ years of quota-carrying field sales experience focusing on closing new workloads and expanding accounts.
Proven track record of overachieving and hitting established sales targets.
Demonstrated ability to expand existing accounts and sell horizontally across different business units.
Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology.
Must be fluent in English.
Experience co-selling with cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) or large GSIs is a plus.
Familiarity with databases, developer tools, and open source technology is a plus.
