What you'll do

Prospect into CTOs, Engineering leaders, and technical end users to identify new business opportunities.
Grow existing customer accounts by landing new workloads through outbound prospecting.
Manage the full sales cycle for all MongoDB products and services.
Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to achieve specific revenue targets.
Build and maintain a sales pipeline using Salesforce, Clari, and various prospecting tools.
Articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology to key stakeholders.
Co-sell with cloud service providers and large global systems integrators.

What we're looking for

Must have 5+ years of quota-carrying field sales experience focusing on closing new workloads and expanding accounts.
Proven track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets.
Demonstrated ability to expand existing accounts and sell horizontally across different business units.
Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology.
Must be fluent in English.
Must live in the assigned territory.
Co-selling with cloud service providers and large GSIs is a plus (preferred).
Previous Sales Methodology training, familiarity with databases, or open source knowledge are pluses (preferred).
