Day-to-day responsibilities include crafting test procedures, performing installations and rip-outs of tactical systems, conducting verification and validation for corrective changes, and troubleshooting software, firmware, and hardware defects. The candidate will utilize electrical measurement tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters while leveraging skills in object-oriented programming, scripting languages, and network configurations. Required expertise includes experience with AN/BLQ-10, AN/BYG-1, Submarine Weapon Launchers, or AN/BQQ-10 systems. The role addresses the technical challenge of ensuring flawless operation of weapon systems for U.S. and international submarine fleets.
Craft comprehensive test procedures for the Common Weapon Launcher and Multi-Tube Weapon Simulator systems.
Utilize electrical measurement tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters to conduct system testing.
Perform installations, rip-outs, and validation of tactical hardware and software components.

Travel to government labs and submarine home ports to perform field services and support test events.
What we're looking for
Must possess a Department of Defense Secret security clearance at time of hire.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent 4 years of job-related experience plus 2 additional years of experience, or a Master's degree.
Must have experience with AN/BLQ-10, AN/BYG-1, Submarine Weapon Launchers, or AN/BQQ-10 systems.
Proficiency in software testing and analysis.
Knowledge of object-oriented programming, system processes, and scripting languages.
Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
Navy or submarine experience is a valuable asset (preferred).
