The Senior Test Engineer Support Specialist joins the engineering team to perform research and engineering laboratory functions. You will utilize skills in writing and reporting on test procedures, Software GUI testing, Linux command line, and computer system and switch architecture. The work involves solving complex problems in cyber, RF, undersea, and interstellar domains, specifically supporting navy submarine testing and pier-side events through technical collaboration and system integration efforts.

What you'll do

  • Interface with customers for technical collaboration and system integration efforts.
  • Perform test and evaluation efforts in support of system level testing.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software related bugs and verify bug resolutions.
  • Manage hardware and software configurations and perform installations and maintenance.
  • Conduct research and engineering laboratory functions including layout, building, and repairing systems.
  • Support navy submarine testing by traveling to pier-side events.
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.

What we're looking for

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related field, or a Master's degree.
  • 2 years of relevant experience is required with a Bachelor's or Technology degree.
  • Experience writing, running, and reporting on test procedures (preferred).
  • Experience with Software GUI testing (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Linux command line (preferred).
  • Familiarity with computer system and switch architecture (preferred).
