Senior Director of Software Engineering, Global Payroll

What you'll do

• Own the technology strategy, engineering delivery, and lifecycle management for Oracle HCM Payroll and Time platforms.
• Lead technology enablement and integration patterns for ADP GlobalView and ADP Celergo to ensure reliable data flows.
• Manage interface integrity and master-data quality across HR, Finance, Tax, and Treasury dependencies.
• Drive compliance-by-design to support financial controls, statutory reporting, and data residency requirements.
• Balance disciplined BAU delivery with innovation to automate controls and modernize integrations at global scale.
• Lead vendor and partner governance for technology delivery performance and roadmap alignment.
• Scale multi-department strategy for agentic AI-enabled engineering and SDLC automation.
• Translate operational needs into prioritized technical roadmaps and delivery plans for engineering and product teams.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years of applied experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items within a domain of expertise.
• Deep experience delivering payroll technology platforms and integrations in a large, highly regulated, global enterprise.
• Strong expertise with Oracle HCM Payroll and Time from a platform and integration perspective.
• Demonstrated experience supporting payroll ecosystems involving ADP GlobalView and/or ADP Celergo.
• Proven ability to operate mission-critical platforms with rigorous controls, audit readiness, and incident management.
• Experience developing or leading large or cross-functional teams of technologists.
• Experience leading multi-organization adoption of agentic AI-enabled engineering operating models.
