The Senior Director Competitive and Solutions Marketing leads a team of data scientists and technical marketers to architect a centralized intelligence ecosystem. This role involves shifting market intelligence from reactive dashboards to an AI-enabled strategic advisory engine. You will perform market sizing, forecasting, and competitive assessments while defining business architecture and product requirements for automated data ingestion and NLP/LLM workflows. Key responsibilities include stress-testing strategic assumptions, managing multimillion-dollar research vendor budgets, and developing market responses for products and solutions. The role requires expertise in semiconductors, data center architecture, and edge AI. You must utilize agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, and predictive modeling to provide objective market perspectives. Architect and guide a centralized intelligence ecosystem to serve as an enterprise-wide source of truth for market conditions.
Lead ongoing market and competitive analysis, including positioning, market sizing, forecasting, and identifying emerging industry trends.
Independently stress-test strategic assumptions, growth forecasts, total addressable market estimates, and competitive assessments.
Define and lead the vision for AI-enabled market intelligence using agentic workflows, automated synthesis, and predictive modeling.
Partner with IT and business stakeholders to define requirements for the intelligence system's business architecture and product.
Develop market responses that position and differentiate products and solutions against the competition.
Lead and mentor a team of data scientists and technical marketers to shift their focus toward strategic consulting and scenario modeling.
Manage multimillion-dollar research vendor budgets and negotiate data syndication agreements to optimize ROI.
What we're looking for
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in market intelligence, corporate strategy, strategic planning, or business analytics within high-tech or semiconductor ecosystems.
7+ years of people management experience with a proven track record of leading organizational transformation and cultivating collaborative cultures.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
Master's degree in an MBA, MS in Strategy, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline (preferred).
Experience managing multimillion-dollar research vendor budgets, negotiating data syndication agreements, and optimizing vendor ROI.
Demonstrated experience serving as a business or product owner for data and AI initiatives, including defining functional requirements for NLP/LLM workflows.
Deep understanding of current AI approaches, including agentic architectures, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and automated synthesis.
Strong familiarity with compute platforms, data center architecture, client computing, edge AI, and hyperscale supply chains.
