The Senior Director, Product Management will lead the Technical Demand organization within the Strategic Customer Engineering team. This role involves owning the strategy, operating model, and execution framework for managing strategic customer demand at scale. You will build and lead a high-performing organization responsible for intake, qualification, prioritization, forecasting, and fulfillment alignment. Key responsibilities include defining governance frameworks, managing complex customer portfolios, and driving alignment between long-range growth forecasts and capacity investment strategies. You will utilize skills in demand planning, portfolio management, and cross-functional team leadership to solve complex technical problems. The role requires expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, GPU capacity, hyperscale, and artificial intelligence to ensure mission-critical workloads are translated into predictable, executable technical outcomes across complex matrixed environments.
Define and evolve the operating model, governance frameworks, and planning mechanisms for strategic customer demand.
Own the end-to-end demand management strategy including intake, qualification, prioritization, forecasting, and fulfillment alignment.
Lead executive-level decision-making and escalation mechanisms regarding customer commitments, capacity constraints, and investment tradeoffs.
Drive alignment between long-range customer growth forecasts, capacity investment strategies, and technical delivery plans.
Establish scalable organizational mechanisms, tooling, metrics, and operating standards to improve planning accuracy and accountability.
Influence capacity and investment decisions through data-driven recommendations and scenario analysis of business impacts.
Build and develop a high-performing organization responsible for managing complex strategic customer portfolios.
Provide strategic leadership, direction, and organizational vision for the Technical Demand function.
What we're looking for
Must have 12+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Customer Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, Capacity Planning, Operations, or related disciplines.
Must have 8+ years of progressive leadership experience leading managers, senior technical or program leaders, and cross-functional organizations.
Must have demonstrated experience building and leading organizations responsible for complex, business-critical programs or strategic customer portfolios.
Must have extensive experience partnering with senior executives and influencing decisions across matrixed organizations without direct authority.
Must have strong experience in demand planning, portfolio management, capacity planning, forecasting, infrastructure planning, or large-scale technical operations.
Must have demonstrated experience establishing organizational governance, operating models, and executive decision-making mechanisms across complex organizations.
Must have experience navigating competing customer, business, technical, and capacity priorities and driving resolution of high-impact escalations.
Must have strong analytical judgment and exceptional executive communication skills to translate complex data into executive-level recommendations.
