Senior Customer Engineer, Turkey serves as a core driver of the technical go-to-market strategy, acting as a trusted advisor and architect for enterprise clients throughout their entire journey. You will lead technical discovery, design custom architectures involving DNS, CDN, Zero Trust, and Network Security, and manage the transition from pre-sales validation to full lifecycle expansion. The role requires a quota-carrying technologist who utilizes AI-augmented workflows to automate routine tasks while focusing on high-value architectural design. Key requirements include fluency in English and Turkish, an architectural mindset for complex network designs, and proficiency in at least four areas: internet fundamentals, security, performance, AI tools, coding in languages like Python or Go, or developer platform fluency involving RESTful APIs and infrastructure-as-code. You will solve critical performance, security, and reliability challenges for diverse internet properties.
Lead technical discovery and map complex customer infrastructure to Cloudflare products like DNS, CDN, and Zero Trust.
Design and deliver tailored architectural diagrams, technical presentations, and demonstrations to address specific customer challenges.
Define and manage the scope, success criteria, and execution plans for Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
Create migration blueprints and provide step-by-step consulting to customer engineering teams during onboarding.
Monitor customer health scores and telemetry to resolve integration bottlenecks and ensure rapid time-to-value.
Drive revenue growth by identifying cross-sell opportunities and leading technical Quarterly Business Reviews for C-level executives.
Automate routine tasks like RFP responses and documentation using AI agents and Large Language Models.
Develop and document internal technical resources, standard operating procedures, and architectural best practices.
What we're looking for
Must have an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Must be fluent in both English and Turkish (written and spoken).
Experience is required in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, or Technical Account Management.
Ability to design and articulate complex enterprise network and security architectures for various stakeholders.
Proven track record of operating in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment with an understanding of SaaS metrics.
Must demonstrate depth in at least four areas: Internet fundamentals, Security, Performance, AI Proficiency, Coding/Scripting, or Developer Platform Fluency.
Experience with LLM orchestration, RAG architectures, and model-access controls (preferred).
Export control laws, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
