Senior Customer Engineer, East China serves as a core driver of the technical go-to-market strategy within the GTM organization. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor and primary architect for enterprise clients, guiding them through pre-sales validation, onboarding, and full lifecycle expansion. You will utilize AI-augmented workflows and LLMs to automate routine tasks while designing complex architectures. Lead technical discovery and map complex customer infrastructure to Cloudflare products like DNS, CDN, and Zero Trust.
Design and deliver tailored architectural diagrams, demonstrations, and technical presentations to address specific customer challenges.

What we're looking for
Must have experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Account Management.
Ability to design and articulate complex enterprise network and security architectures.
Proven track record of operating in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment.
Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts into business outcomes for C-level executives.
Must demonstrate depth in at least four areas: Internet fundamentals, Security, Performance, AI Proficiency, Coding/Scripting, or Developer Platform Fluency.
Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM utilization, and workflow automation to enhance daily workflows.
Proficiency in languages such as Python, JavaScript, Bash, Lua, or Go for custom scripts and API integrations.
Export control laws, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
