What you'll do

Lead and manage the daily operations of the engineering team to ensure safe machinery and system operation.
Perform preventive and repair work orders on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Maintain and repair critical infrastructure including CRAC units, building automation systems, and fire/life safety systems.
Conduct facility inspections and due diligence to report on conditions impacting client occupancy and operations.
Identify and mitigate safety hazards while ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
Manage work orders and administrative tasks in real-time using CMMS software like Corrigo.
Protect and improve the value of owner assets by maintaining equipment to its rated life.

What we're looking for

Must have 5+ years of technical experience in building engineering with a background in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment.
Experience working in Data Centers or Raised Floor environments is required.
Universal EPA 608 Certification is required.
Experience leading Building Engineers and Technicians and resolving escalations is required.
Must have 2 years of trades school or a documented apprenticeship in relevant craft skills.
Strong customer service, interpersonal skills, and knowledge of Word and Excel are required.
Expertise in one specific craft area (Electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, CUP, or MHE) is preferred.
Familiarity with building automation systems and fire/life safety systems is preferred.
