Operating Engineer As an Operating Engineer within the Critical Environments team, you will maintain mission-critical data center infrastructure to ensure 100% uptime for vital operations. What you'll do

Operate and maintain critical building systems including UPS, generators, cooling units, and power distribution to ensure 100% uptime.
Monitor and adjust mechanical equipment such as boilers, pumps, valves, and refrigeration systems for optimal performance.
Record equipment readings and analyze system operations to identify and correct malfunctions immediately.
Manage work orders through a CMMS and coordinate with vendors to resolve customer-facing tickets.
Follow emergency escalation procedures and respond to site emergencies to protect critical infrastructure.
Maintain safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials while ensuring workplace compliance with safety standards.
Document technical activities and communicate system information clearly in both written and verbal formats.

What we're looking for

Must have 2+ years of hands-on experience in a data center or critical facility environment.
Must have demonstrated experience with mission-critical systems including UPS, emergency generators, switchgear, and power distribution.
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to document activities and communicate technical information.
Must have working knowledge of MS Office, Google Suite, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders up to 30 feet, work at heights, and navigate rooftops.
Must be flexible to work different schedules including holidays and respond to site emergencies.
Experience with Corrigo, Universal EPA 608 certification, or NFPA 70E training (preferred).
Background in industrial controls, BAS, energy management, vendor coordination, or relevant trade certifications (preferred).
